Easter Eggs & Mistakes

Here's a list of 13 things you might have missed while watching the short film for 'Each Day's A Gift, Not A Given Right' :

1. Assistant Secretary, Int. Wong Fook Jian, who was murdered during the first scene of the mini-movie, made an appearance in the end of the second scene, where Assistant International Understanding Director, Int. Ooi Sha Lin was killed.

2. International Understanding Director, Int. Lydia Gan, and the assistant, Int. Ooi Sha Lin, who were murdered in the second and third scenes respectively, reappeared in the fifth scene, right before where Vice President, Int. Tan Sze Teng, was poisoned to death by deadly chloroform.

3. From 06:55 to 06:57, part of Int. Goh Yi Wei's hand can be seen in the video's circle of footage during the seventh scene.

4. In the same scene, before Community Service Director, Int. Lee Jun Yi was splashed and "melted" to death by a pail concentrated acid (07:25), the grounds where Int. Lee Jun Yi was stepping on before her death was already wet, with acid.

5. In the beginning of the eighth scene, Secretary, Int. Jasmine Tan was not seen with her B&W striped Roxy handbag, but the handbag was sitting on the seats of the restaurant at 09:03, when the subtitle reads "Thank you!".

6. In the same scene, a black Addidas bag which has never been shown before, was also seen on the restaurant chairs, next to the Roxy handbag. Sergeant-At-Arms, Int. Thum Tat Shing's turquoise-coloured backpack, which he was carrying earlier, disappears at the same restaurant scene.

7. The turquoise-coloured backpack reappears at 09:49.

8. During the subtitle given as the serial killer was in the midst of poisoning Int. Jasmine Tan's beef lasagna, written is "Posion", as apposed to "Poison".

9. At the climax of the ninth scene, where Int. Thum Tat Shing was blown up to death in a jungle, the device that was used to set off the explosives was a Nokia handphone.

10. In the tenth scene, the footages were not filmed at the Petronas Twin Towers as shown in the beginning of the scene, but was ironically, shot at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.

11. In the second shot of the same scene before the arrest, Editor and director, Int. Gabriel Lim, and Club Service Director, Int. Lee Tet Sean, were not wearing their shades as shown in the previous shot. A second later in the next shot during the arrest, the footage of the both of them shows them wearing the glasses.

12. At 13:07, Int. Wong Fook Jian who was murdered in the first scene, is seen in the background. Int. Wong Fook Jian disappeared again only after Club Service Director, Int. Lee Tet Sean was murdered.

13. Int. Gabriel Lim, was not killed in the film.

If you have not watched the 14-minutes-long epic yet, it is now available to watch on YouTube MUTED and Facebook.

The theme, 'Band of Brothers', signifies togetherness among the Interact Club Of Bukit Bintang (ICBB). Together, the ICBB is a Brotherhood. The TV mini-series 'Band Of Brothers' was about an infantry who went to war lead by their captain, Major Richard Winters. They had to stick together and trust one another no matter the location or situation in order to come out victorious. The experiences and the moral, mental and physical hurdles the soldiers must overcome would be an example of the various challenges that lie ahead of our club and we would like to overcome and rise to these challenges and prove to everyone that we are a constantly improving club.
